If you have any questions about our SEO reseller scheme, check out the list of FAQs that we’ve included below. And of course, if you can’t find the answer that you’re looking for, just get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.
Q: I’m not based in the UK. Can I still join?
A: Yes, our SEO services work in every country. If you’re going to promote your packages in a currency other than UK pounds, please contact us and we can agree on a price for our services in your local currency so that you don’t have to worry about currency fluctuations.
Q: What if I join and request a lot of review packs but don’t give you any customers?
A: There are no set targets or expectations from any resellers. Some resellers ask for a few packs per year, some multiple packs every day. Some of these resellers give us a lot of new clients, some very few, and some none at all. So please feel free to request as many or as few review packs as you require. However, if you are having trouble finding new clients then we would encourage you to contact us so that we can see if there’s anything we can do to help you close some business.
Q: I know you don’t have any tie-in contracts, but can I tie my clients in? For example, into a six-month or 12-month contract?
A: Yes of course. Many of our resellers do this, and it is totally up to you.
Q: What happens when the search engines update and change their rules?
A: The search engines make changes all the time, some of which are small, some of which are very large. We have a network of ‘test’ websites (over 2,000 currently), all of them slightly different, that we use these to test current ideas, new ideas, etc. We gain a lot of feedback from this network.
For example, in April 2012 Google did a massive update called ‘Penguin’. Within hours of looking at our test sites we knew the major changes we due to a new way Google was calculating link anchor text ratio and link profiles. And within a few weeks, we knew exactly what strategy changes were required. However, we are very paranoid and always work to make things look very natural in addition to only using white-hat tactics. A lot of what we do doesn’t give ‘direct’ SEO power but serves to protect the website by looking more natural than some white-hat SEO providers.
Q: Looking at your packages, I can’t find one that I would like to offer. What can I do?
A: Simple – contact us with details of what you are looking for and we can look at potential customised packages for you.
Q: Can you SEO my own site that sells your SEO services?
A: Yes we can! Please contact us for more information because we will SEO resellers’ own sites on a reduced package deal. It’s only fair, as we both benefit from you receiving more sales from your own SEO services site.
Q: What if I decide to move my clients away from you and use another SEO provider, or do the SEO myself?
A: Of course if this were to ever happen (no reseller to our knowledge has ever done this), we would be disappointed and would love feedback on why you decided to do this. However, they are your clients and you are free to do whatever you want with your business.
Q: What if I don’t want to manage clients and I just want to send them to you?
A: No problem! Our own direct SEO services sites offer affiliate schemes which you can join and from which you can receive monthly commissions. Please contact us for more details.
Q: Do you offer any other services that I can resell?
A: Yes, we also offer Google AdWords management services and brand repair/brand protection SEO. Please contact us for more details.
Q: How should I keep track of payments, invoices, etc?
A: For invoices we highly recommend www.roninapp.com. For keeping track of your tasks we highly recommend www.nozbe.com.
Q: I see your prices have VAT added on top. I live in the UK but I’m not VAT registered. Do I still have to pay VAT to you, and do I have to add VAT onto my clients’ invoices?
A: Once your income reaches a certain level (which changes every year) you have to charge VAT, so even if you are not VAT registered. Legally we have to charge VAT to you (if you are VAT registered you can claim this back on your VAT return). If you are under the VAT threshold you don’t charge your clients VAT. If you have any doubts, we highly recommend discussing this with a professional accountant.
Q: I’m not based in the UK. Do you still charge me VAT?
A: This depends on where you are in the world. If you’re in Europe, it’s best to contact us with your details so we can advise you. If you are based outside of Europe then we do not need to charge you VAT.
Q: What if my SEO business really takes off. Is there a limit on how fast you can make new packages or a limit on how many sites you can work with?
A: At the moment we can increase our services/systems to an additional 1,000-1,500 sites (depending on packages picked), and we always keep some room spare. We can ramp up to any number, although this may take a small amount of time. But unless you bring in over 1000+ clients in a single week there won’t be a problem.
